Frankenstein: Date TBC, 2025

Due to be released some time in 2025, Guillermo del Toro's latest creation is an adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic novel Frankenstein, starring Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the Creature.

Highest 2 Lowest: Summer, 2025

Slated for a summer release, Highest to Lowest is Spike Lee's English-language homage to the 1963 Japanese film High and Low. Lee has insisted that the film "isn’t a remake" but rather "a reinterpretation of the great Kurosawa". Denzel Washington, Ice Spice and ASAP Rocky are among the stars set to bring this vision to life.

January 2025 new films

Rabbit Trap: January 24, 2025

This psychological horror set in 1970s Britain follows the story of a married couple's (Dev Patel and Rosy McEwen) strange interactions with their new home and a mysterious child that begins to entangle himself in their lives. Rabbit Trap premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival before its theatrical release in January.

February 2025 new films

Love Hurts: February 07, 2025

Director Jonathan Eusebio's directorial debut follows the story a former hitman turned realtor whose past catches up with him. The action-comedy's ensemble cast includes Ariana DeBose and Daniel Wu. 

The Legend of Ochi: February 28, 2025

Directed by Isaiah Saxon, this fantasy film stars Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe. The story follows a young girl who runs away from home and learns to communicate with an elusive animal species known as Ochi.

March 2025 new films

Mickey 17: March 07, 2025

Starring Robert Pattinson, Toni Collette, Steven Yeun and Mark Ruffalo, Mickey 17 is the latest brainchild of award-winning director Bong Joon-ho. In 2019, Joon-ho made history with his film Parasite (2019), which became the first non-English language film to win Best Picture in the history of the Academy Awards.

Mickey 17 is scheduled to premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2025, before its theatrical release in South Korea on February 28 and United Sates on March 07.

Snow White: March 21, 2025

This live-action adaptation of Disney's 1937 animated classic is directed by Marc Webb. Rachel Zegler stars as Snow White, with Gal Gadot portraying the Evil Queen. 

April 2025 new films

The Amateur: April 11, 2025

This thriller follows a CIA cryptographer (Rami Malek) who, after losing his wife in a London terrorist attack, demands his superiors pursue the terrorists responsible. When they refuse, he threatens to go public with classified information unless the agency takes action. 

May 2025 new films

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey: May 09, 2025

Margot Robbie, Colin Farrell and Phoebe Waller-Bridge star in this romantic fantasy that follows the story of two strangers who meet at a wedding and go on a journey of love and self-exploration.

Lilo & Sitch: May 23, 2025

Disney's live-action adaptation of the beloved 2002 animated film Lilo & Stitch is set for release this spring. The story follows a young Hawaiian girl named Lilo who befriends an alien creature, Stitch, originally designed for destruction. The film will feature a CGI-animated Stitch, blending live-action and animation to bring the characters to life.

June 2025 new films

How to Train Your Dragon: June 13, 2025

DreamWorks' live-action adaption of the beloved animated series How to Train Your Dragon. The story centers on a young Viking named Hiccup who befriends a dragon, challenging his tribe's long-standing beliefs about the creatures.

28 Years Later: June 20, 2025

22 years after the release of the original 28 Days Later (2002) Danny Boyle returns for the third in the 28 Days Later film series. Starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes, the story takes place 28 years after the 'Rage' virus began infecting the world.

The film was shot back-to-back with the upcoming sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, set for release in January 2026.

July 2025 new films

Jurassic World: Rebirth: July 02, 2025

Taking place five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion (2022), Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey star in the next instalment in the Jurassic World Series, which follows the trio as they work on a top-secret mission to acquire crucial DNA samples to help save human lives.

Superman: July 11, 2025

David Corenswet is the latest embodiment of the world's most famous superhero. Directed by James Gunn, the film is expected to explore Superman's early days in Metropolis, balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing.

Freakier Friday: August 08, 2025

Michael: October 03, 2025

November 2025 new films

Zootopia 2: November 26, 2025

Marty Supreme: December 25, 2025
